I have an intimate relationship with nature. Although abstract, most of my work employs organic imagery and references plants, flowers, figures as well as the forces of nature. I see everything, feel everything in flux. I have a lifelong fascination with materials and pattern and with how we see what is around us.
In my current work, I utilize drawing, painting, collage and layered translucency to push the space back and forth.  With a background in sculpture, I am always trying to marry the virtual painterly image with a soft sculptural painting. All of the imagery is my own, deconstructed, and reconfigured.
